Rovery

Terms of Use

Effective 4 October 2026 · Last updated 4 October 2026

The short version

1. About these terms

These terms cover the Rovery app and this website. By creating an account or using Rovery, you agree to them. Rovery is operated from India by an independent developer, referred to here as "we" or "us". Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data and forms part of these terms.

2. Who can use Rovery

You must be at least 18 years old to use Rovery. Please give accurate details when you sign up, keep your sign-in secure, and let us know at support@rovery.app if you think someone else has access to your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

3. Your content

Your content means everything you add to Rovery, such as trips, places, notes, photos, expenses, screenshots and links. You keep ownership of it. So that Rovery can work, you give us permission to store, process and display your content, which includes syncing it across your devices, showing it to the members of trips you share, and sending screenshots or links you submit to our AI providers as described in the Privacy Policy. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from the limited copies the Privacy Policy describes.

Only add content that you have the right to share. A screenshot of someone else's post is fine to plan with, but do not use Rovery to republish other people's work.

4. Trips and other people

Anything you add to a shared trip can be seen by the other members of that trip. Trip owners decide who joins. Please treat the people you plan with respectfully.

5. Things you must not do

If an account seriously or repeatedly breaks these rules, we may remove the content involved or suspend the account.

6. AI features

Some content in Rovery is written automatically by AI, such as place cards made from your screenshots or links. It can be incomplete or wrong, so treat details such as the best time to visit, how long you'll need and costs as estimates. Information such as opening hours comes from third-party map data and may be out of date. Please check anything important before you rely on it, especially when it affects your safety, bookings or money.

7. Expenses and payments

Rovery calculates balances from the expenses that trip members enter. It is not a payment service, and it never holds, sends or receives money. When you settle up, the payment happens between you and the other person in your own UPI app, and the terms of that app apply. Please check amounts before you pay. We are not responsible for payments made between users or for disagreements about them.

8. Other services

Rovery relies on other services, such as map providers, sign-in with Google or Apple, and UPI apps, and it can open links to other websites. Those services have their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

9. The service

We work to keep Rovery running and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available". Features may change, be added or be removed, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. Please do not rely on Rovery as the only record of anything important to you.

10. Responsibility

Decisions about your trip, including bookings, travel and payments, are yours and your group's. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of Rovery. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Ending your use

You can stop using Rovery at any time and delete your account from the Profile screen in the app, or by following the steps on our account deletion page.

12. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above. Where a change is significant, we will also tell you inside the app. If you keep using Rovery after a change, the updated terms apply.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
