How it works

From a saved reel to a settled bill

Rovery keeps everything about a group trip in one place, so nothing gets lost in the chat. Here is how a trip comes together, one step at a time.

  1. Save the places you find

When you or a friend spots a place in a reel, take a screenshot and share it to Rovery. It turns the screenshot into a place card that shows the best time to visit, how long you'll need there and roughly what it costs.

Place cards are written by AI from your screenshot, so check details like timings before you go.

  2. Plan the trip day by day

Add the places your group likes to the days of your trip. Everyone sees the same plan, and every stop shows up on one map, so nobody has to ask what's happening next.

  3. Decide things together

When the group can't agree on an idea, put it to a vote. Everyone taps yes or skip, and once most of the group says yes, the idea moves into the plan.

  4. Split the costs

Add expenses as you spend during the trip. Rovery works out who owes whom, and everyone can settle up through their own UPI app when the trip is over.

FAQ

Questions people ask

When can I get Rovery?
Rovery is coming soon to Android on Google Play. We're testing it with a small group first, and we'll announce the launch on Instagram at @rovery.app.
Is Rovery available on iPhone?
Not yet. Rovery is launching on Android first.
Does Rovery cost anything?
Rovery will be free to download from Google Play.
Does everyone in the group need the app?
Anyone who wants to see the plan, vote or add expenses needs the app and an account. You invite friends to your trip with a link, and they join once you approve them.
Can I save places straight from Instagram?
Yes, with a screenshot. Take a screenshot of the reel or post and share it to Rovery, and it reads the place from the image. For a YouTube video, you can paste the link instead.
Does Rovery handle our money?
No. Rovery keeps track of who paid for what and works out who owes whom, but the payments themselves happen in your own UPI app. Rovery never holds or moves your money.
How accurate are the place cards?
Place cards are written by AI from your screenshots, so treat things like the best time to visit, how long you'll need and the cost as estimates, and check them before you go.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from the Profile screen in the app, or by following the steps on our account deletion page, which also works if you've already uninstalled the app. Our privacy policy explains what is deleted.
